Deanne Tremlett Creative Consultancy

I have the advantage of a wide experience in business, training and implementation alongside my artistic proclivities, whilst also being a highly motivated person capable of delivering tangible results in a creative manner.

I am a great motivator and get a real buzz from facilitating engagement whilst constantly looking for ways in which to expand my own knowledge and practice.

I relish the opportunity to work with interesting people in new ways, particularly diverse funders and stakeholders.

There are many ways in which I can help individuals, companies and other organisations to effectively deliver their objectives in new and exciting ways including; utilising my knowledge of the cultural landscape of the area to ensure that a full spectrum of views and experience are brought into play. Combining my creativity and problem solving abilities; using my passion for CPD to disseminate best and current practice; utilising my natural gregariousness to involve those which might otherwise shy away from such endeavours; delivering projects in a confident and professional way whilst attracting other professionals of a like manner to initiatives.

As a consultant curator I learned my craft whilst serving a curatorial internship with a world class London gallery, Camden Art Space, and by undertaking organisational work for two arts charities.

I have been engaged as a Creative Consultant on a number of projects as a result of my Post Graduate interest in Social and Creative Construction, Relational Portraiture and Community Creation. I strongly believe that a life lived more creatively builds resilience, both in individuals and the shared experience of communities.

I have delivered projects on a one to one, partnership and organisational level. For artists, such as Wendy Elia www.wendyelia.com for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad, not for profit organisations such as Sherborne House Arts for the conservation of the murals of Sir James Thornhill that exist at the house and also in the pursuance of investment for the preservation and security of this grade one listed building www.thesherborne.uk and, as a consultant, for arts organisations such as The Arts Development Company, Dorchester, The Dorset Local Enterprise Company and The Arts Council.

From 2016-18 I consulted upon an audit of the Visual Arts and its further potential for growth in Dorset. The resulting report ‘Creative County’ focussed upon increasing the economy and amenity of the county via the visual arts, secured £!4 million in ERDF funding and has informed the ongoing direction of the cultural policy for the county.

My specialism is the building of communities around shared, but initially apparently diverse, aims and the embedding of organisations and projects into their immediate environment to the point where the fact that they were never there before can no longer be conceived of.

I welcome approaches from individuals and organisations seeking help to deliver their vision and objectives in an holistic and community integrated way,

Deanne
