I am a Slade School graduate who completed my postgraduate studies at Wimbledon College of Art.

I’ve been painting since the age of 6, have works in private collections both here and overseas and have been exhibiting since the age of 14, in London and Dorset, in both solo and group shows.

My work has appeared in many publications (The London Evening Standard, The Observer, The Sunday Times Magazine, London Time Out, Evolver, 50 Wessex Artists, etc) both as illustrations and stand alone images. On first graduating I worked in advertising and media in London, in order to clear my student overdraft, and to support my work and to develop my creative consultancy ambitions. This resulted in time spent at two national newspaper groups, GMEN and DMGT, where I worked on the Guardian, Observer and Daily Mail, culminating in the overseeing of the Daily Mail Weekend magazine.

As a curator I learned my craft whilst serving a curatorial internship world class London gallery, Camden Art Space, and by undertaking voluntary organisational work for two arts charities. I’ve personally represented three national and internationally renowned artists, set up an art group for adults with learning disabilities and have initiated, contributed to, consulted upon and overseen several high profile exhibitions throughout my home region, both as a former curator for Sherborne House Arts and as an independent practitioner.

I have been engaged as a Creative Consultant on a number of projects as a result of my Post Graduate interest in Social and Creative Construction, Relational Portraiture and Community Creation. I strongly believe that a life lived more creatively builds resilience, both in individuals and the shared experience of communities.

In 2015-17 I consulted upon an audit of the visual arts and its further potential for growth in Dorset for Dorset County Council, The Arts Development Company and the Arts Council. The resulting report ‘Creative County’ focussed upon increasing the economy and amenity of the county via the visual arts and has informed further direction.

Since 2019 I have been developing the Guggleton Farm Arts project in Stalbridge, Dorset, a not for profit Community Interest Company, as Creative Director, working as an associate on Dorset Art Weeks, and building a house.
